Sunday Blessings: Do Not Live in Fear

Too often, in the preparedness community, I see so many people living with the fear of what might happen and allowing that fear and panic to rule their lives. Someone will mention a “rumor of war” and they begin to panic.

To all the preparedness-minded folks out there: Have I not commanded you be strong and corageous? Do not be terrified, do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9. | For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7 Let these things guide your heart. Do not be fearful. Be powerful!

Do Not Live in Fear!

There will be bad times coming. There always have been. And there will be times when we are scared. But God has told you to not live in a spirit of fearfulness. Don’t allow that panic to rule your life. Yes, be prepared so that you are not a burden on someone else and maybe a blessing to many. Yes, understand that fear is a real emotion that we have. But do not LIVE in fear. Don’t allow that emotion to take over your life and not be that blessing to others.

God has commanded you to be STRONG! Be COURAGEOUS! Be those blessings!
