Learn How to Be Your First Responder In Any Situation!

This doesn’t take away from our emergency responders who give their lives each and every day to help us. But it does bring a focus to the fact that if you are in an emergency situation, YOU are your own first responder. YOU are the one there who can assess a situation and make decisions. YOU are the one who can do something. YOU can save a life.

Don’t live your life waiting for the police or fire department or EMS to show up. Be prepared to deal with it UNTIL they show up. They do an amazing job, but so can you.

She grows 100% organic food on roughly 15 acres and raises goats, chickens, and ducks. She also lovingly tends her orchard, where she grows many different fruit trees. And, because she likes to know exactly what she's feeding her family, she's a seasoned from-scratch cook and gluten-free baker.

Katy teaches foraging and environmental education classes, too, including self-sufficient living, modern homesteading, seed saving, and organic vegetable gardening.

Katy helps others learn forgotten skills, including basic survival skills and self-reliance.
